Hampton Rodriguez was the creative force behind North Portland’s, now closed, Bohio Studio in the Alberta Arts neighborhood of NE Portland. He’s a painter and collage artist whose work is made from recycled materials. Originally from the Dominican Republic, he has become a big part of the Alberta Street art renaissance painting murals, teaching art to at risk teens and young adults, and being a father to his daughter Sophia.
