Shanon Playford paints in her native Portland, Oregon.  She received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1997 and attended the School of Museum of Fine Arts, Boston from 1992 to 1994.  Her work is included in private & corporate collections in Chicago, Boston, New York, Napa, Milan, Los Angeles, Hartford, New Haven, Kansas, Texas, Seattle, Scotland, South Africa, and Portland
